The Addiction and Drug Abuse (ADA) work group has conducted the first outcome evaluation of Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST) in Lebanon. In collaboration with SKOUN Lebanese Addiction Center, OST patients treated at SKOUN participated in a study to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment on health and well being. The study is financed by the National Council of Scientific Research (CNRS). The study is being revised before its publication.
The Addiction and Drug Abuse (ADA) has is conducting a qualitative assessment about challenges in implementing buprenorphine replacement therapy as perceived by the users. The study is in collaboration with civil society organization SIDC.
