The project MIC (Maternal Infection Control) has two aims. The first is to estimate the prevalence of Streptococcus B. infection among pregnant women in Lebanon and Kuwait. The second is to evaluate different diagnostic methods for the detection of infectious agents among pregnant women. The team is conducting and evaluation of certain diagnostic tools for E.coli and Streptococcus infection detection among pregnant women in Lebanon and Kuwait.
